Chimaera lives up to its name with an assortment of intense accords that leap off the skin and leave a strong impression. It has the confidence of a royal and the presence of one. There’s no subtlety when it comes to the instant leathery essence that blends with sharp herbs and spices, and its florals create a softer heart once you get past the strong exterior. It dries down into an earthy, woody base with a hint of creamy softness from the benzoin, honey, and cashmere wood.

Chimaera can be a great scent, but this being an "Anniversary Edition" using natural ingredients, the scent can vary from year-to-year as the quality of the ingredients can vary significantly between them. Each bottle has a year engraved onto it (between 2014 and 2021). 2014-2018 are apparently the best years while the latter tend to become weaker and don't have as great of a scent. The version being sold by FragranceX is a 2020-Year, despite the image shown, so do keep that in mind. The perfume comes inside of a black "box" shaped bottle, appearing to be made of plastic (with a matching square cap) and gold CHIMAERA label on front along with the year. The atomizer works well but all of the Tiziana's tend to leak juice onto the bottles as you spray them, so you'll likely need to keep wiping it off after each use. This one does go a long way, 2-3 sprays will last all day. Like the other Tiziana's, this one is an Extrait. As with all Tiziana's, they have a similar scent to the oils so you'll easily be able to recognize them. Also with the Tiziana's, you'll find that they tend to pack dozens of scents into it (Leather, Tolu balsam, Saffrom, Black pepper, Soil tincture, Bay leaf, Lemon, Thyme, Honey, Red pepper, Carnation, Iris, Sage, Peony, Magnolia, Oud, Tobacco, Caramel, Leather, Benzoin, Pine tree, Canadian balsam, Patchouli, Labdanum, Cashmere wood) so at some point they tend to get lost or blend together, it also makes it much more likely that you'll find a note that you don't enjoy as much and could turn you off to it. I find it to be a good fragrance but found the Caramel to be the strongest note (at least in the 2020 year) which sticks around but changes a bit with the other ingredients, the caramel seemed strong throughout. If this were one of the better (2014 - 2018) years, I'd enjoy it much more. The current (2020 year being sold) does make it tougher one to recommend at the premium its sold at. The bottle comes inside of a great case with a light!

Beastmode
Beastmode 8+ hours with moderate projection and decent sillage (4 feet from wearer). Maximum of 3 atomizations. Starts off super masculine with the balsam, resin, pepper, and saffron (spicy sweet which reminds me of Brut or something a mature man wears) and then it turns unisex as it sweetens with the honey, pine, and floral tones. I get some leather, oud, and tobacco throughout and they walk hand in hand never separating. Even after 4 hours, both skin and clothes scent will be strong.

Amazing oriental, floral, & woody fragrance. Smells divine
The notes are amazing and create a great fragrance that encompasses what it means to be floral and woody, although its for female, guys can use it too as it has a very unisexual vibe. Suited for cold weather and at night, this is a very sexy oriental scent
