Almonds powdery haven
This European elegant perfume is very similar to La Parfum of Lalique. Reminds me Llaique creation since the openning till the end. The main difference is that edp by Llaique has a main accent on Bay Leaf and more masculine vanilla. Rochas perfume has an accent on powdery Martzipan / Almonds note with gentle vanilla mixed with orange flower and pear freshness behind. Creates soft aura around you without any loud statements. Longevity is good. About 6-8 hours. This is more as intime perfume. Noticable during close contact. Very pleasant to wear.

Elegant creation
Beautiful and softly elegant creation. Reminds E.d.p . of Lalique "Le Parfum" very much. There's something that reminds "Satine" of Lalique as well. The main difference that in - Le Parfum - the accent goes on Bay leaf with spicy and more masculine vanilla, and in - Satine - it goes more on floral powdery vanilla side . Rochas perfume has an accent on accord that reminds Almonds / Martzipan mixed with pear and orange blossom , supported by gentle and powdery vanilla. Rochas creation is not about making a loud statement, but more like intimate whispering during close approach. Creates lovely aura around user with good longevity. This is not loud and vulgar perfume from Emirates, but beautiful elegant European one.

Very disappointing
I have used this perfume for over 20 years and find the new version sickly sweet, overpowering. It lacks the subtle, spicy sensual quality of the original and bears no resemblance to the original. I have found it very disappointing overall.

Nothing like the original
This was re-released, as it had been discontinued. The original was a spicy/oriental scent. This new one smells NOTHING like the original. It's really not a good scent.

One of my all time favorites.
This is a fragrance that I have worn over the years and have always come back to. It has a strong enough smell to last but not so strong that it cannot be worn in the summertime. I hope this company always carries Byzance because it is a favorite not only to me but to my family members as well.

We are now into the 21 century. I first came across this beautiful perfume in 1988 in the UK 🇬🇧. When I tested it…I didn't have to wait awhile to see if this works. I loved it from the get go. A few years after that…it finally came to Canada. When I would ran out…I knew I could find it at a fragrance shop….till they weren't carrying it anymore😢. My last purchase, I came across this wee booth at a Flea market. Have never seen it since. Until, I discovered your website. I remembered typing in "Byzance" and then it popped up🤗. Took me awhile before ordering it. When I have now ordered (2) bottles. You know after not wearing a certain fragrances after so many years. Our scents are known to change. Well, that didn't happen with this fragrance. As long as this website is here… I will continue to purchase this beautiful fragrance and others from this site. Prices are reasonable, and shipments are fast. Called in a few times. The customer service was well professional and extremely help. Thank you for carrying this gorgeous fragrance. Love this site💜🤗💜

This is a classic fragrance for me which was difficult to find until my search ended with FragranceX! I was able to purchase this with another fragrance difficult to find.
