This is quite simply one of the best dark scents there is. You get the high natural ingredients quality of Guerlain combined with a soft(er) l'homme ideal amaretto vibe, and a spicy, smoky, utterly sensual and masculine gentlemen scent few perfumes can provide. Fantastic performance, long lasting and very good sillage bubble. Has become one of my signature scents and I hope it'll become a classic and never be discontinued along with the EDT (another signature scent) and EDP of the line, which are also excellent. Also gets compliments (more from men, fewer ladies) though not as many as the EDT/EDP which are sweeter (more both men and from ladies). One of my all-time favourites and wholeheartedly recommended if you want to smell a bit special and different. I wear it throughout the year (Aircon) at the office, meetings and special functions (where it especially shines with class and elegance); it is magnificent.

This is one of the best colognes I've smelled it has a unique and intriguing scent. I got many compliments wearing this beauty and it is now one of my signature scents for winter time and evening wear amazing scent

Definitely original
This is the real thing and not watered down. However, I expected it to be spicier and smokier as described by Guerlain and the reviews online. This is too similar to the regular Homme Ideal Eau de Toilette but much sweeter and stronger. I can detect only a hint of the red pepper ingredient and get no smoky notes at all. It is strong so will wait to wear it more in cold weather nights and see how it works then. In the summer is too overwhelming and a little goes a long way.
