Fresh floral scent
This fragrance has the aroma of fresh white flowers from a florist shoppe with a mild woody/spicy scent mixed in -- reminds me of a funeral home (hence the name) or an old traditional church with wood pews & altar adorned with fresh floral arrangements. Demeter Flower Show is a very similar floral fragrance without the heavier woody/spicy accents.

I bought this because I liked the shock value of the name. It's fun to wear it and tell folks what's its name. Layer upon layer of flowers. I smell daisy and carnations. Lasts about an hour.

Fun Name
I used to wear Demeter Tomato when I went to college (graduated 1987). I used to get really positive comments about it. When I found it on Fragrence X, I was happy to see it was available. I was stunned to see the vast availability of other scents. I thought funeral home would be a fun scent to try. I liked it. I smell wood, grass, tuberose and carnations. Husband smelled it in me and liked it. It was fun to tell him the name of it. Lol.

I am spraying a bit on the wrists and neck before I start working, in the morning. I work from home. But unfortunately the fragrance disappears after 30 to 45 minutes. Hmmm…

Smells natural and very subtle
I would recommend 100%, price is worth it very big bottle. It can be worn anytime and smells absolutely natural no alcohol smell in the back. Very soft on the skin not heavy and very subtle.

I am on my second bottle
I have never been much of a perfume type person. I have had some i don't mind, very few i actually enjoyed, most of them made me sick of smelling them or gave me migraines. Most scents, i could take it or leave it. I have never bought a second bottle of perfume and i can't remember ever finishing one. Demeter really changed that though. I love their adventurous scents and true spirit in representing the scents. I worked in funeral homes and this is a pleasant note to that. It's a perfect balance of scent. It's uncommon and different and I love it. I pair it with Demeter Dirt. It makes me smell like I just crawled out of a grave.

This cologne spray is to die for!
I'm so glad my boyfriend introduced me to the world of Demeter Fragrance Library. It truly is the best fragrance I've ever worn. The smell is very accurate - flower bouquets, cut stems, a bit of that church/holy water smell perfectly incapsulated in a bottle of "holy smokes I want to bathe in it". The only con of this cologne spray is that it doesn't last long (it's expected since it's only a cologne spray, but if you're searching for something that has a strong hold this isn't quite it). I personally don't mind reapplying it, so it's not a problem for me. The shipping took about 2 weeks, the bottle arrived unharmed, overall I'm very happy with my purchase and probably reorder it once I run out!

Authentic Vibes
Yes, this fragrance does capture the overall ambience of a funeral home. I love the way it captures the distinctive scent of jonquils and lilies while still carrying undercurrents of decaying organic matter. Like many Demeter fragrances the sillage is just ok -- once it's gone you can just reapply. On my skin it lasts maybe 12 hours, maybe. The price is great and I love the smell. Would buy again. side note: the leather-based Demeter fragrances seem to have longer wear.

VERY Floral
Tbh I mainly just bought this for the bottle and because I was curious how it would smell. It literally smells like sticking your head directly into a bouquet of mixed flowers. It's not just a "floral scent". It's walking into a funeral home full of flower bouquets.

Surprising lovely floral scent
I got this on a whim. The name of the scent caught my eye, I love Halloween and creepy. By reading the description, I knew it would have a floral scent. Has more of a rose with underlying notes a other florals..The rose though, its actual rose, not the fake smell...like having your nose in a blooming rose bush..not in a bad way. Its actually a very pretty scent, not too overpowering.

Very interesting smell
Such an interactive scent. The name honestly drew me in! Smells like a floral shop freezer! A blend of floral notes with a earthy warm scent mixed in. Not for everyone.. it's is a heavier scent to wear would be great on men or women and someone who prefers something out of the norm!
