A Surprise Hit
Against its more known brother, Oud Malaki, I bought Amber Malaki to simply compare against Serge Lutens' Ambre Sultan and Tauer Perfumes' Au Coeur du Désert, knowing that my recent fragrance journey has pulled me significantly away from overtly sweet scents and into the more mysterious side of amber. It was a revelation that I love this more than Oud Malaki, but no complaints here.

Opulent and intoxicating!
Addictive opening, rich and lush overall, really enjoyable. Has some stimulating spices and a stunning drier finish. It's medium sweet, medium juicy-wet and smoother in the end, a wonderful concoction that is a pleasure to smell. Longevity, projection and sillage are very good on me, and there is an occasional whiff throughout. Will be one of my regulars and I can recommend it highly.
