GOOD AND REALLY BAD
I bought 2 bottles. One has a very tiny hint of a perfume but to me it's just water/alcohol. It is totally gone after 15 minutes. The other bottle is okay. Good at best (as expected). I tried asking FragranceX if I could return it but they said it will take 2 months to refund. They promised me 30% off for a replacement but didn't get that either. Really terrible customer service, FragranceX.com

I would purchase this over and over again
I just found out that this fragrance is for men I had no clue. My neighbor was wearing this and she passed my me and I was like omg what is that you are wearing and she told me and I purchased a bottle from her she works in a perfume factory this was a week ago and I've gotten soooo many compliments and it literally lasts for days. I'm going to put it away and take the advice from a previous post and wear it when it gets cooler.

My whole house smells like cotton candy!!!!
It smells amazing!!! I'm male and I love this scent.. it's very candy like, smells kind of like the pink cotton candy as it's being made.."to me anyway" not overpowering... But, very definitive, sweet and kind of spicy... I've never smelled BR-540 so I really can't tell you whether it is or is not like that.. that's not the reason I bought it.. But, I can absolutely tell you male or female.... It smells amazing and it is definitely worth the buy just for it being what it is.... An affordable Middle Eastern parfum... That will last forever on your skin and comes in a beautiful display box, my entire house smells like this after just two small spritzes ok my wrist when unboxing... Intoxicating smell...

I havn,t actually smelt the baccarat rouge 540 in all fairness. so i cannot really comment whether this is similar or not, but from reading the descripsions I am sure this may be very simiar and value for money!..but that being said, there is something in this fragrance that I really do not like, If I am honest it is a horrible smell,initially almost animalic, but not in a nice way, it is like urine.. I know it sounds awful but that is the truth, but.. after that wears off I do enjoy the scent, but it is not very strong, maybe this scent like the baccarat rouge 540, makes you anosmic, but it is a bit dissapointing, as I like to also smell my own perfume on me...I believe that this is possibly a good dupe but I will have to go and smell the £300 original, then I will give you and honest opinion.. But fragrance.X was quick to deliever!

This does not smell like the original. I feel this smells bad, almost like cat pee. There is an awful scent that comes through the initial spray that is very off putting. I feel like I was sent a bad version as it does not smell like other people's bottle.

Zero fragrance. Zero "dry down"
I give the benefit of the doubt to FragranceX because my prior purchases have always been very satisfying. However, this is probably the biggest waste of time I have ever had. This cologne has absolutely no fragrance. Based upon the disparity in the reviews, I have to believe this must be an error in manufacturing and should be shared with the company. But at this price I would wait until the future reviews reflect more consistency before I would venture trying this again. Stay away for now.

This is definitely the most "bang for your buck" purchase I have here. I love MFK BR540-Extrait but it's so expensive. This is the closest dupe I've tried so far. I immediately ordered a backup bottle. It lasts forever on clothes and it PROJECTS!!! People around me can still smell it with their masks on. Everyone wants to know what I'm wearing! Of course I didn't tell them. 😉 This is not a very common perfume where I live and I want to smell unique longer. Even my 7-year old niece complimented me on this and said it's the best smelling out of all my perfumes! I didn't ask her. Thank you so much, Fragrancex!

Bacaract Rouge 540 was on my wish list before I even smelled it. Then I discovered this frangrance by accident. I watched several YouTube reviews and decided to purchase after getting a spritz if the MFK BR 540 Extrait which this is supposed to be a dupe of. The reviewers are correct this is very very close to the Extrait. What I noticed is there is more of an alcohol smell upon the first spray. After 10 mins that dries down I could smell a medicinal scent ,which is also a similar scent people pick up with the BR 540 Extrait. One thing I did notice is that my nose did go a bit anosmic and I had to reset it before being able to smell the Amber Rouge as it continued to develop on my skin. I did have an every so-slight sensation of irritation from the alcohol but no reaction and I do tend to have sensitive skin. So those with sensitive skin might want to consider this. Otherwise, I don't regret my purchase. It came timely and when I reached out to customer service about the negative reviews they followed up in a timely manner addressing my concerns.

Wonderful - simply wonderful. To me the opening is weird with its blast of alcohol and a little bit of an artificial oud note, but as this scent warms up on the skin it turns into something beautiful, sexy and unique: sweet in an ethereal way mixed with a hint of saffron and oud. I recommend this for men and for women.

The best clone of Baccarat 540 in my opinion. It's sweet,a bit woody and airy. Fall/ Winter is the ideal season to wear. Lasts 10hrs and on clothes it stays forever. Leaves a beautiful scent trail.
